DSWD’s UPLIFT (Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport) Program gives qualified low-income, employed SSS members a monthly cash grant, and the good news is there’s no separate application to file. Instead, SSS and the DSWD match SSS’s individual member records against the 2024 Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) to identify who qualifies.
Once confirmed, qualified members receive a recurring cash grant credited straight to their registered SSS disbursement account, no branch visits or forms required. In short, if you’re a low-income, employed SSS member whose household appears in the CBMS list, there’s a good chance you’re already part of the UPLIFT Group 3 beneficiary pool, whether or not you’ve heard about it yet.
Take note that this is a targeted, data-driven program, so being an SSS member alone doesn’t guarantee inclusion — your income level, contribution record, and household data all factor in.
Also, because CBMS data is organized by household rather than by individual, only one qualified SSS member per household is selected to receive the assistance, even if multiple household members are SSS contributors. Members who are already qualified don’t need to do anything extra aside from making sure their information with SSS is accurate and up to date.

Who Are the Group 3 Beneficiaries?
Group 3 of the UPLIFT (Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport) program covers low-income, currently employed SSS members.
Group 3 Qualifications
To qualify for the UPLIFT assistance program under Group 3, a member must meet five specific requirements:
- You must belong to the employed, low-income workforce.
- You must appear in the PSA’s 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) list.
- Your SSS Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) must be ₱20,000 or below.
- You must have paid at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026.
- You must have maintained an active, enrolled disbursement account or bank info in your SSS portal on or before April 30, 2026.
Note: If your household has more than one qualified SSS member, remember that only one person per household is finalized for payout.

Benefits and Payout Schedule
Qualified Group 3 beneficiaries receive ₱2,000 in cash assistance per month, disbursed directly to their registered SSS account. This is provided for six consecutive months, covering the period from July to December, which adds up to a total of ₱12,000 for those who receive the full run of payouts.
Payouts are released in batches as records are verified, so not every qualified member receives their first payout on the same date. If your payout is processed later than expected, you should still receive the full amount owed for any earlier months you were entitled to, since delays on the government’s end aren’t meant to reduce what you’re owed.
How the Process Works
Here’s what makes Group 3 different from typical government aid programs: there’s no application form to fill out and no office you need to visit.
- SSS shares its database of employed, low-income members with DSWD
- DSWD matches this list against CBMS household data to confirm eligibility
- Only one beneficiary per household is finalized for payout
- SSS handles the actual disbursement into each qualified member’s registered account
- Payouts are released in batches as records are verified and disbursement accounts are confirmed

What If You Don’t Have a Disbursement Account Yet?
Some low-income SSS members qualify under the income and employment criteria but haven’t yet registered a disbursement or bank account with SSS. If this sounds like you, it’s worth registering one as soon as possible. Members who update their disbursement information can still be included in later payout batches, since the goal is to eventually cover all qualified low-income SSS members, not just those with accounts already on file.
How to Check Your Status and Contact SSS
If you want to know whether you’re a qualified Group 3 beneficiary, here’s what you can do:
- Log in to the My.SSS online portal or the My.SSS mobile app to check your member records and disbursement account status
- Check the email address registered with your SSS account for official notifications
- Make sure your registered bank account, e-wallet, or disbursement details with SSS are current
- Visit the official SSS website for verified announcements and updates on the UPLIFT program
- For concerns specific to the cash assistance itself, you can also refer to official DSWD channels, since DSWD coordinates the release of funds with SSS
Since UPLIFT is a targeted assistance program based on data matching rather than walk-in applications, being proactive about updating your SSS records is the most useful thing you can do while waiting for your payout to be processed.
