How to Use PhilHealth YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program)

The PhilHealth YAKAP or Yaman ng Kalusugan Program is a government initiative designed to help every Filipino through accredited YAKAP Clinics, by providing members with regular check-ups, laboratory tests, cancer screening, and free medicines — all to keep families healthy and prevent costly hospitalizations. It is an improved version of the former PhilHealth Konsulta Program, expanded to make complete healthcare available for all.

With PhilHealth YAKAP, the government hopes to stay true to its goal: “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, malayo ako sa sakit.” To learn how to use it, read this guide below.
