It started as a humble initiative by 70 farmers, each contributing ₱50, to address the community’s lack of access to roads, water, electricity, and basic services. With a total capital of only ₱3,500, these early members began small-scale consumer and marketing services. The cooperative was officially registered with the Cooperative on March 13, 1992, and has since grown into one of the most awarded and diversified cooperatives in the Philippines, now serving over 150,000 members across the Visayas and Mindanao.

The cooperative steadily expanded its reach through new branches, diversified businesses, and technical programs. Eligibility Criteria

  • Ready to attend orientation

Membership Requirements

These documents must be submitted at your nearest LMPC branch to start your membership application.

  • Duly accomplished Membership Application Form
  • Proof of attendance in the Basic Cooperative Course (BCC) (in-person or via LamacTV on YouTube)
  • Valid government-issued ID or any acceptable proof of identity
  • Membership fee payment receipt (₱200)
  • Proof of initial Capital Build-Up investment and initial savings deposit

Share Capital Requirements and Other Fees

To apply for membership at Lamac Multipurpose Cooperative, applicants are required to pay a ₱200 membership fee, along with an initial investment in share capital and savings. The exact amount for the initial Capital Build-Up and savings will be provided at the branch and may vary based on your preferred loan or service. These payments serve as your ownership stake and help you access LMPC’s wide range of financial and non-financial services.
