The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is a government agency in the Philippines designed to take responsibility for the social protection and well-being of Filipinos, particularly the vulnerable and marginalized sectors. They implement programs and services and even offer cash assistance to help alleviate, or at least reduce, poverty, provide immediate relief in times of crisis, and support the basic needs of families struggling financially.
Despite the numerous information campaigns about DSWD’s cash assistance programs, not everyone actually has the ability to access such information. By rounding up this list, we hope to empower these DSWD-targeted individuals so they know that they can actually access government support in times of need and difficult situations. With this list, we hope to promote awareness of all the available resources, ensuring that eligible Filipinos can benefit from the assistance that the DSWD offers and improve their quality of life.
