It was further supported by a dedicated team of incorporators, charter members, and community volunteers who believed in the power of collective savings and cooperation. The organization has grown from its original 49 members and ₱1,181.50 in capital to become a full-fledged multipurpose cooperative offering savings, loans, insurance, and community-based services.

DCCCO was officially registered with the Cooperative Administration Office on August 5, 1969, later with the Bureau of Cooperative Development in 1975, and confirmed by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in 1991. On June 17, 2011, it was approved as a Multipurpose Cooperative under RA 9520.
